Since its debut in 2016, Pawaii Fursuits has evolved into a collaborative costume creator that aims to inspire the imagination and provide high quality characters that truly come to life!

The name is a play on words, drawing inspiration from the Japanese word for "cute" and the name of an inspiring Polynesian island, to create the magical world of Pawaii! Thus, the pronunciation is that of "kawaii" or "Hawaii."

I started building fursuits back in 2009. That same year I attended my first convention (RMFC 2009) wearing my very first suit. Since that moment, the art of creating and performing in suit has been near and dear to my heart. I had been in and out of school for 5 years before I worked up the confidence to pursue fursuit making professionally.

With the creation of Pawaii, I've felt like my dreams are coming true! I owe all of my success thus far to the support of my family, friends, and loving boyfriend.

There's so many exciting things I have in store for the future, and I appreciate all of the amazing people who will be along for the ride. Currently, I handle construction of suits as well as photo editing, video editing, website content, website maintenance, and social media presence.

Before meeting Anna, I had no idea what a "fursuit" was, or that such a large and vibrant community known as "furries" even existed! I've now had the pleasure of experiencing it first hand because of Pawaii, so for that, I thank everyone who has supported Pawaii thus far. The future is bright!

I graduated from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) with a degree in Business Management. I only work with Pawaii part time, but it has truly been a liberating and exciting experience.

Currently, I handle correspondence via e-mail, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as quotes, invoicing, photography, and videography.
